The massage therapy profession is growing rapidly in response to the public’s increasing interest in promoting personal well-being and healthy living.
The massage therapy program will provide students with the knowledge and skills of massage, incorporating anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and other topics. Completion of the program will provide the required information and skills to sit for the state exam required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The program will be taught through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and clinical experiences. Textbook(s) are required.

Any student who is planning to become a Massage Therapist in the State of Texas must successfully complete all of the listed courses that are required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in order to sit for the licensure exam (MBLEx). Not all courses will be offered each semester.

Before beginning Fundamentals II of the Massage Therapy program, the following items must be completed and submitted to the CE Healthcare Coordinator for review:
