The theatre program at BC is a dynamic and ever-changing space with new courses, guest artists, and exciting productions and collaborations. Our space benefits the students and community as they experience a theater that has relevance to their lives and offers on-going possibilities not only for Scholarships and financial support but for a greater understanding of their place in the world.

Our practical courses help you find employment locally even while you're still attending classes.
Acting for the Camera provides on-camera techniques and advice for booking work in the local area, even while still in school.
Improvisation helps build confidence, spontaneity, resilience, adaptability - all while having lots of fun!
Voice for the Actor Voice Acting offers voice-over techniques, microphone tips, editing tips, and guidance on securing work right now.
Stagecraft provides you with a wealth of expertise, including budgeting, programming, and design – teaching you valuable management skills along the way.
Theatre Practicum is a great way to learn how theatre works, both onstage and off.
Stage Movement is a fun Laban focused class that will give your characters an extra spark (no dancing required!).
History of the Theatre expands cultural perspectives while deepening appreciation for theater; perfect for those who want to focus on period pieces.

Our curriculum is designed to give you the practical skills you need to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year institution. If you're interested in other careers, our classes will teach you essential soft skills that are highly sought after in today's job market.
Generous theatre scholarships are available for those passionate about performance. Participate in productions to receive a scholarship.
Our Department is home to two performance spaces – Seidule Theatre and the outdoor Theatre in the Glen. Both spaces are perfect for a variety of productions, and our Costume and Scene Shops as well as Paint and Makeup rooms make putting on a show easy and fun! We welcome all students and members of the community to audition for our upcoming productions - we can't wait to see what you can do!
