Generous scholarships are available, and credit is earned for participation in productions.

Students enrolled in DRAM 2389 or DRAM 1120 can receive a full semester scholarship. These classes award credit for working on productions – onstage or off. You must maintain a C average and successfully complete the classes or reimbursement may be required. Scholarship funds are limited. DRAM 2389 Academic Co-operative: Practical, hands-on experience performing or designing a Theatre Program production. In conjunction with class seminars, the individual student will set specific goals involving research, rehearsal, and performance. Options available may include Acting, Stage Management, Scenic Design, Lighting Design, Properties Design, Costume Design, Sound Design, Scenic Artist and Master Electrician.

DRAM 1120 Theatre Practicum: Practicum in theater open to all students with emphasis on technique and procedures with experience gained in play productions.

Brazosport College is proud to offer the 60 credit-hour Associate of Arts degree that prepare students to transfer to all Texas public colleges’ and universities’ Bachelor’s Degree programs. You’ll complete the 42-credit hour core curriculum and the opportunity to choose appropriate electives to make transfer to your desired institution simple.
