Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language Header

HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY (HSE)

The purpose of the High School Equivalency Program is to prepare students to pass the High School Equivalency (HSE) Exam (formerly the GED Exam).

A pre-test is required to determine if a student is eligible to take the official test, and to determine if the student needs additional preparation. Students must be at least 19 years of age to register; however, 16 year olds may enroll with a signed court order; 17 and 18 year olds may enroll with a withdrawal form from the last school attended with a parent or guardian accompanying them at registration to sign the permission form.
