This course is designed to meet all Objectives of the Accreditation Standards for Pharmacy Technician Education and Training Programs, and includes unparalleled content, career support, and a clinical externship opportunity. This program explores terminology, calculation techniques, record keeping, and pharmaceutical ethics—while immersive virtual activities provide hands-on practice.

- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- An Occupational Skills Award from Brazosport College

Eligibility Requirements
Only applicants meeting all requirements, including TABE scores, background checks and passing Allied Health Panel Interview will be eligible to attend orientation. Applicants with any college degrees (Associate's or higher) will not qualify. Applicants with "holds" on their record will not qualify unless "holds" are cleared before orientation. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or Equivalency to attend.
No Cost to Eligible Students
All expenses are covered including costs for tuition, TABE testing, loaner books, background checks for those in the pharmacy technician program.
Limited Spaces
Seats in this program are limited. Only 15 participants will be accepted for each craft class. This is a grant-based program, therefore certain criteria must be met in order to qualify for the Jumpstart program.
