Steps to Enroll in Dual Credit Courses

Step 1: Apply to Brazosport College

Submit an application through Apply Texas up to a year in advance.

Step 2: Required Testing (If Needed)

Students without an exemption or waiver, will have to take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment:

*Prospective Dual Credit/Dual Credit students will have fee waived.

If you completed your TSI exam at a high school or another college's testing center, please complete the electronic request form to send scores to Brazosport College. 

Step 3: Submit Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

All students under 22 years of age, taking courses at Brazosport College's Main Campus are required to submit proof of vaccination.

Step 4: Complete the Dual Enrollment Forms

Dual Credit Summer & Fall Registration begins March 21st.

First time dual credit students must complete two forms:

Returning dual credit students, who already have a Dual Enrollment Student & Parent Agreement on file, only need to complete a Dual Enrollment Registration Request.

Dual credit students who are currently enrolled in the Summer and/or Fall semester & would like to make a change to your schedule, please visit your high school Dual Credit Counselor.

Step 5: View your Schedule on myBC

To View Schedule on myBC:

  • Log-in to myBC by visiting mybc.brazosport.edu
    • Username: first initial+last name+last 4 of BC Student ID Number
    • Password: E-mailed to student when admitted to BC
  • Select "Registration", then choose "Schedule"
  • Select "Term", then choose "Display Schedule" button

Step 6: Complete New Student Orientation (Mandatory)

Our two-part New Student Orientation is required for all new students who have never taken college courses before.

Dual Credit students who are attending college for the first time are required to complete the two-part New Student Orientation program.

Steps to Complete the Online Module New Student Orientation

  1. Review the online new student orientation module at www.brazosport.edu/onlineorientation. (A Spanish version of the orientation module is available at www.brazosport.edu/onlineorientationspanish.)
  2. Complete the survey provided at the end of the online module.
  3. Register for a virtual orientation session using the online form.
  4. Attend the virtual orientation session.

Brazosport College (BC) has partnered with school districts to provide many different options when it comes to taking dual credit courses. Find your school district below to learn more.

Angleton ISD

BC has partnered with AISD to offer free dual credit courses to qualifying students. All dual credit courses on the student’s pathway will be eligible. No additional forms nor application required.

Brazosport ISD
